Correction: It was pure coincidence that when I installed my new X-Ice tires, that my right rear wheel bearing needed replacement. I blamed the new tire for the excessive internal noise. I repaired the bearing and now pleased to report that this tire is smooth & quiet (The noise had nothing to do with the tire). The X-Ice is awesome...if only it was a bit cheaper. Cheers !

I just bought a new set of these and disappointed. Its Looks & Handling are excellent however, the interior noise levels are LOUD & disturbing (quite prominent even at low speed). The NEXEN Winguards are much quieter. Does Michelin have quieter tires ?

Previously most driving with studded snow tires, but now it odubbat in the future. A good grasp of most of the bow, combined with great comfort. I highly recommend these tires to those who are looking to try studless tires.
